The history of the kitchen clown

When God created the world and the human beings he bethought himself of the idea that placidity and happiness should reign on earth. That is how initially Santa Clauses and in the following kitchen clowns were originated among humans. For distinction the Santa Clauses were given red jelly bag caps and the clowns received red noses. The Santa Clauses were spread all over the world in order to remind of the Good News, whereas the clowns settled in a fertile plain at a place which was later on called Colonia. They celebrated happiness, ate, drank, and enjoyed their lives.

Among these funny clowns there were special kitchen clowns, which have exclusively been busy with the preparation of exquisite dishes and which passed on their knowledge to the humans. The rumour about their extraordinary cooking skills soon spread all over the country. Thus, it is not surprising that already more than 2000 years ago the Romans, living at the Mediterranean Sea, became aware of this place saved by God’s goodwill at the great river Rhenus.

The Romans and the kitchen clowns became close friends and the small companions were invited to come and get to know more about the Italian cuisine on site. Many centuries’ later, in the land of vitality and food culture, prominent personalities became aware of the cooking clowns. The great poet Dante was so fascinated by these funny creatures that he decided to write a comedy. Later on, the famous artists Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Tizian founded an association of friends and sponsors of the kitchen clowns, which later has been pursued by the Medici dynasty. The clowns visited magnificent places at the courts of Florence and Venice. They exchanged information’s about the latest news of Haute Cuisine, discussed about the maintenance of home cooking, about low fat sauces, and about the potential negative impact on baked goods when using whole wheat flour.

Recently, the kitchen clowns were invited to Italy. They were very pleased to accept the invitation, in particular, because important culinary knowledge has got lost throughout the ages. In order to improve their cooking skills and to collect new recipes the kitchen clowns immediately sailed to Italy in their Venetian gondola, which was given to them as an expression of gratitude in former times. On their way they discovered many "Recipes for success" and after their return were completely  "Crazy for Christmas".
